Itronics Names Albert Eykelbosh Manager, Finance
RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 1998--Itronics Inc. (OTC BB:ITRO - news) today announced the appointment of Albert G. Eykelbosh as Manager, Finance of Itronics and its subsidiaries.
''We are pleased that a finance manager with the breadth of experience and record of success that Mr. Eykelbosh has achieved has joined Itronics,'' said Dr. John Whitney, Itronics president and CEO.
Whitney said Eykelbosh will assume direct responsibility for completing financing activities currently underway, including a private placement, and will oversee financing directly related to the company's present expansion to commercial scale fertilizer manufacturing.
''Having Mr. Eykelbosh as part of our team will be a significant help in completing this work, which is vital for Itronics' future,'' Whitney said.
Eykelbosh replaces Richard W. Stumbo Jr., who resigned in January for health reasons. ''Mr. Stumbo continues to assist the company on a part-time consulting basis and has given valuable guidance to our efforts to grow Itronics,'' Whitney said.
From 1993 to the present, Eykelbosh served as financing officer for several private real estate developers including arranging project financing.
He also has served as treasurer for Lands of Sierra Inc., Reno, where he oversaw the financing for the start-up of several major commercial projects, and as chief financial officer for the J H. Bryant Contractors in Los Angeles, a large contractor/builder.
As vice president, finance for Trousdale Enterprises Inc., Los Angeles, he helped build the company from $12 million to $75 million in annual revenues.
Eykelbosh is a chartered accountant with a degree from McGill University, Toronto, and is a certified public accountant in California and Nevada.
