I'm very, very, very, very discouraged at what I pay Schwab. They do me in worse than the market maker.

I went with them originally because they have an office on the other side of the river. I figured, since I was new, I could go see a human being if needed. It turns out this human being is absolutely no different than anyone who'd be on a telephone. I got no value. Rarely do I use their research--the same info is available for free in other places.

And here's the kicker: They give you this great deal: $29.95 for a trade up to 1000 shares. Then it's .03 for every thousand shares thereafter. Isn't it nice to save .05 on the first thousand shares.

Believe me, Terry, I'm reevaluating my use of their online service, and will likely begin a new one quite soon.
