>>When is the dip going to end?<<
Since some people dispise this stock out of purely emotional reasons, there is the potential for selling by shorts. Some shorts with these attitudes, wouldn't bother covering their shorts even if the stock hit $15.
For the moment, only bargain-hunters, who don't mind taking a little extra risk to time the bottom are going to be buying. Otherwise, your semi-conservative/sem-aggressive MM will at least want to wait until the preannouncement period is over and probably get in a little late to be safer.
Low volume is the key - if big volume comes up then there's been a sea-change.
I agree with Briefing.com on the following:
Recovery effort stalls, but investors certainly not panicking in the wake of an earlier 100-point decline in the Dow that followed yesterday's 150-point drop... Talk that Asia's troubles will slow earnings growth isn't anything new, yet it does serve as a compelling reason to do some profit taking as the market works off some of its excess... Shouldn't be too long, though, before investors cling to the notion that Asia's problems will keep the Fed from raising rates, and as such, they will be emboldened by this prospect, and get stock prices moving higher again.
If COMS is somewhat moving with the market in general, then the above could apply to COMS.
