well then I guess you have to decide whether or not you trust any of the people who have provided answers.

If you don't, then maybe you ought to ask your broker. If you still don't, maybe calling the T/A or the company could help.

So, one more time....

It is my understanding that if you are a shareholder of record at the close of business on Friday 29 May, 1998, you will receive the dividend. If you are not, you won't. Not real hard here.

I think someone posted something about a "x" being shown beside the ticker once purchased shares are not subject to the dividend.

I am really sorry if I appear to have an "attitude", but don't you think that this has been beaten to death? You can either believe what you read here, or not. If you don't, (and I don't mean this for you personally Jeff) asking the question a half dozen more times will not make you any more of a beilever than you were to begin with.

Just my opinion.
