Jeffery, you and I are on the same page for why DPMI is a good stock to hold going forward the next 5 years (or more).

NEGATIVES:

Asian Chip-makers cutting back on Cap Ex due to their weakened domestic economies is a big macro problem that has set back the industry. The leading edge companies that have the technology chipmakers need to produce higher margined products stand to be less effected by the AFC but still face its head wind

A negative you've no doubt thought of yourself.

DPMI specific: the rise in the US $ could negatively eat into the companies earnings.
This is a function of how well management can hedge the currency.

ASIDE:

ETEC and ASMLF are also on my short list as buys and fit into your thesis. I'll wait for the dust to settle before taking a position. Personally my exposure in this industry has been in TER 92-97, CYMI 96-? and DPMI 98- ?. As the Asian crisis shakesout there will be a great opportunity to buy this sector at a good value for significant future returns. May we all be wise enough to recognize it when it comes!

Regards,

Denis
