What a bunch of "psycho-babble". The job of a CEO is to make the company make lots of money for the stockholders. By this criteria, Gates is one of the best ever. The items you mention are just some characteristics that may be useful, but are not good criteria.

If that's all you think programming is, then don't bother ever trying to work for a company where I have any say. I have seen a lot of difference between programmers. Yes, coding certain standard structures may be fairly common and easy, but larger programs are a lot of choices and compromises between varying needs. That is where the true genius lies. In particular, performance and compact code (especially important in the early days) is very important and very few programmers are good at this. (BTW, I am a programmer).
