Elmer, looks like your hopes for a lack of Super-7 100 MHz boards are dashed: realworldtech.com News for 5/26/98 The Super 7 boards are finally back in stock after a stretch of backorders. It looks like the motherboard manufacturers are catching up to the demand, and just in time too... AMD is scheduled to release the K6-2 chips this week. Also, look at grumpmicro.com, one of the largest motherboard distributors. They have six Intel BX motherboards in stock and six 100 MHz-capable Super-7 motherboards in stock and shipping. The prices for the Slot 1 (BX) boards: 199,189,165,159,159,155 The prices for the Super-7 boards: 125,115,109,109,109,109 So the availability is equal, but the AMD performance is better and the AMD price is much lower.
