Hi Mark! No offense meant. But are you an analyst?

The argument that you presented for buying AMD shares is similar to an argument I listened to in the summer of 1995. Unfortunately, I bought AMD shares, only to see them sink, because AMD could not actually produce what it promised that it would produce.

So in 1995, I wrote off a tax loss of several thousand dollars in AMD shares. I would be very careful before I invested in that company again.

Even if they do make a chip similar to Intel's, you have to wonder how reliable it will be. Reliability has become a critical issue for me because Windows 95 keeps crashing.

So please be careful, when investing in a company that is bringing a new product to market.

ps: Intel's new chip showed well at Comdex, according to tv news.
