leroy--

i did not mean to give you the impression that i am upset, quite the contrary. i am very happy that i have been able to pick up so many great companies on the cheap.

the problem is that the market will overreact to the upside when the announcements are made. my comment works both ways.

as for your points, i discount the cablecos as being a really big threat almost automatically. the game has not yet begun. these guys are going full out in their deployments, while the telcos are moving slowly, if at all. when this changes, favor will swing to the telcos quickly.

on the pricing issue, i cannot agree more. but, if the telcos cant the subscribers at price 1, they will rejigger and offer better pricing. my bet is that the national average will be about 65 per month.

good luck to all,
trey
