zc66,

I don't have my financial info with me here, so I'll trust your figures. Lets assume orcl is 27% higher in revenue growth than msft.

And your point is.......... what?

If you are saying that the fact that orcl has higher revenue growth than msft means that orcl has won, well fine! Lets shut down those expensive legal proceedings against msft, then.

Of course you and I know there is such a thing as mkt share and that what really matters in the end.

I'm sure if you look at the revenue growth of say, IBM in 1989 or Apple in 1992 (or for that matter, the tobacco companies) you will find that they were extremely profitable.... until they fell off a cliff.

BTW, this is getting boring. If somebody has some insightful opinions on how to fix Orcl (especially the apps business, which is of particular interest to me) please send me a pvt msg - I'm curious about what others think.
