You know it is unbelievable when I think about how much money is flowing in and out of these markets. Dell alone traded about 25 million shares today at around $83 a share. That is about 2 billion dollars on just one stock. Since there is about 637 million shares outstanding and Dell was up about $2...that means there was about 1.2 billion dollars of "wealth" created in todays trading. It seems to me that I can learn to grab a piece of that 1.2 billion as it is created. I didn't today because I just wasn't sure which way things were going, and I haven't learned how to really take advantage of this ultra short term volatility. Still when 1.2 billion dollars goes by right under your nose...wow! Here's to improved skills and increased account value! ;) RS
