LF..i saw that..but cpq didn't have earning surprises til 90-91. what were they real negatives in the 92-96 period.. I'm confident that there is big earnings surprise in 4q ..to the upside...big time. NO crash 4q unless market crashes. but, at 1q 97 if cpq sees any trace of a negative they pop it....( they will want to talk down the est. eps) plus the street could get nervous for no reason. How many times do I have to say if you own stock ..don't read this thread and go to sleep...you'll be millionaire. but don't buy calls and no puts at this price. This pull back today is normal... up up and away to 88... my real purpose is all this is options specualtion from non pros not pros like MB.. mB will not be hurt by his early puts on cpq.. others could lose shirt. If he loses 100% of a 1/3 apr 50 put on cpq it will not even be noticed.
