I have no idea where you get the idea that there is anything remotely emotional about my statements regarding SoftRAM, I couldn't honestly say the same about your reply. You indicated your research indicates SoftRAM '95 worked with Windows 3.1 and I'm not really sure what the point there is given the obvious contradiction. You asked what the term OS indicated which leads me to believe you may not gain anything from reading Dr. Dobb's Journal. If you're still curious, do a search on "DDJ" and you will find the website for that 15 year old software engineering publication which is one of, if not the most widely recognized names in the industry.
