Interesting article but I can see a problem for the NC in the office applications area. Unless somebody can develop NC applications that can use MS files and basically look and feel like MS products then they might have a fighting chance. This following article lead me to this conclusion. MS product can't even touch WP but the consumers aren't buying it due to the following reason.

Tomorrow, the company will announce that Carlson Worldwide, a U.K.-based travel company, will replace its networked PCs with 2,000 Network Stations connected to 400 Netfinity 3500 servers.
