Arnie, You are right. Over the weekend, I met in a social gathering, a very senior member of NXTL's management team. Although he was very careful with what he had to say, I got the following impressions. 1.Q2 new additions run rate in line with expectations ("translation". >400,000). 2. LMDS strategy not defined/refined yet. But it will be an application geared to business users. More importantly, I got the impression that it was viewed as an opportunity to acquire valuable spectrum at very good prices. 3. Business execution continues according to plan. This was in response to remarks about all the exciting possibilities abroad (global wireless player) and my counterremark that they need to stick to (and deliver on) the domestic plan. 4. Long-term prospects very exciting as we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg in terms of the potential applaications and uses of the spectrum NXTL owns 5. NXTL's spectrum is the "choice" spectrum because of its propagation properties. All-in-all, not much of new information but exceedingly encouraging body language and conviction.
