Greg,

I assume that Hitachi order will be handled by LTX directly, but I doubt that LTX will from now on generate substantial direct sales in Japan (although they'll benefit from each sale generated by Ando). This increases the importance of the North American market.

As for the secondary suggestion, it was offered in jest - fees for underwriters mean additional positive coverage by sell side analysts, stock gets temporarily bid up, etc...

Also, I still can't figure out the way the ANDO agreement is treated by LTXX. The original announcement mentioned $10M payment - rather than $7.4M number cited in the earnings release. Also, how did they treat the 1.6M shares returned to LTX?

If the net proceeds were 7.4M rather than 15M, is it possible that some LTX orders were actually transferred to Ando?

Guess we'll have to wait for 10Q to learn more. I may try and call IR (my e-mail message to ir@ltx.com came back as undeliverable)

Regards,

Y.
