we just have different perspectives. sure it is legal and, under the current system, one would have to be nuts to not "play the game." the question is whether it should be part of the system. hiring an accounting firm is also a part of conducting one's business but it shouldn't have an impact on reported eps. however, it often does. this isn't good, imho.
