Richard,
Sounds as though NT would not be right for you.

If you decide to try the CG card, I would get an agreement with them that if it does not work (meaning if once installed you get GPFs... that were not occuring before) that you can ship it back at no cost...

I use an STB card that is designed similar to the CG card. It does work very well under NT, but I was constantly having problems when using it under W95. But even NT was a bear setting up and I had to use older drivers than their most recent release at that time... Their tech department was excellent and stuck with me until I was running. They probably would like to never hear from me again, and probably do not want me to ever change drivers though...

The other thing I found was that with trading programs I would not use any of the enhancement features that come with the program. ie programs that force them to start in certain windows or size them... These seem to add to the problems.

If you can get if up and running it is great and it fits my trading style in that I want everything out in front of me, I hate jumping from screen to screen...

Hope this helps and good luck.

Harold
