I just tried the above using Windows Explorer and I can not see how it could be any easier. I highlighted Windows, then edit select all, then ctrl deselect win386.swp, then right click copy then left click on a windows directory on my D drive and then paste. The keystrokes took about 20 seconds and then about 10 minutes for all files and directories and their contained files except win386.swp copied including system files. Zeuspaul
