Meathead, are you contradicting yourself (again)? As for growth prospects and variables outside Dells control... you must be fantasizing about proprietary architecture??? Now, didn't you just mention unrealized advancements in software and so-called killer apps? Unless DELL has become an ISV, I'd say these are factors outside of DELL's control. Please, spare me the time-worn UNIX v. NT argument -- I don't care. Either purposefully or inadvertently, you have avoided the issue. BTW, I did not catagorize rudedog as a bear; recall, I asked that we avoid such narrow labeling. (Rudedog was simply represented as a technologist with alternative views on computing.)
