Hi Nancy,
Ya have to give me symbols.
We look at high and low. Most indexes made new lows today so we call that negative. Remember, it says something important if the selling pushes it past recent support no matter what the rally is during the day.
Chart of Dell is a good example. It sold down past previous support, had a good rally the same day but the next sold of past support again. Rallies only count if they produce a buy signal. Otherwise, in a downtrend they may represent exit points.
Give me the symbols or names and I'll look.
