RE: Noranda, they did a mission in Australia. Australia is having a big push for exploration since several months ago. Guess what is the best and cheapest way to explore quickly? Re: Khazakstan, no idea. All of these projects are definitely long term, do not expect quick results. I think we are looking at 2 to 5 years to maximize our returns, maybe longer...........Re: reverse split. It is not true that it is the kiss of death. That is merely and "Old Trader's Tale". Many forward splits go down the tubes at some point also. The traders out there like a lot of shares at a low price. That gives them liquidity and to the average investor the small share price in some cases seems like nothing at all and when they lose a nickel, penny, or quarter they don't think too much about it. I have seen this stock run up and down so many times I am about to start trading it too. Reverse splits are okay if the company eventually starts making money. In that case it is simply a numbers game and everything is the same with the p/e's and prices all working out. Believe me traders can keep a penny stock down forever, every time they run it up and down, they can increase their position and put more pressure on it. Either direction.Plus they have an added advantage, the MM's can short it and most of us cannot. HUGE ADVANTAGE on their side. Besides, if you want to get worried, start dividing $15 million by 0.25 or 0.35 and start counting the extra shares. Some where between 45 million and 60 million extra shares to trade. Now let's start figuring in warrants or options and a discount to market. Jeepers, now I'm getting scared. Reverse splits don't create anything, except perhaps a little more stability by taking away the liquidity of the Jitney Traders. Think about it for a moment instead of reacting. Start naming the reverse split companies you personally know about or can find, I bet I can find twice as many forward split companies or know of them that failed also. Face it, companies fail either way. The main reason most (but not all) companies reverse split in the first place though is that they are on the rocks and just about doomed or it is a scam and they want one more run at new investors that don't know the history. Anyhow plan on it, I think they will. Off that, EDIS also is getting more instruments ready. Perhaps this coming year will provide more income. The resource part of this venture will be very long term. Don't think that Noranda or anyone else that finds something and shares some percent with EDIS is going to immediately start mining, NO WAY. Some of these projects go on ten to twenty years. So buckle you seat belts, be patient, keep trading, or sell out and get in something with more short term potential. Best, Savant. Not venting, just sharing my opinion Oh, back to my other question, does anyone know the terms of the placement??
