One small problem for CREAF may be the upcoming Matrox G200. (Note how they slyly ditched the "millenium" moniker just in time to avoid bad publicity! :) ) No, it's not quite as fast in 3D as the Voodoo 2. But it's darn close. And it beats the pants off of it in 2D. In fact, it's about twice as fast at 2D as it's predecessor, the Millenium II, which is widely thought to be among the fastest 2D cards. The difference is that the Voodoo 2 is a niche market, while the G200 will provide superior performance at all tasks. This could take some of the wind out of Voodoo 2's sails. Hoping CREAF has an encore. (No, no, not THAT encore! :) )
