Not sure that Q+ R2 quotes exactly match R1, Monty, but assuming they do, R2 shows !COMP 1761.520,1781.3320,1741.720,1781.300, up 3.210 today. Note also that Q+ changed data vendors very recently, so older comparisons may no longer be valid.
Yahoo! shows last trade (4:44PM) 1781.10,+3.01.
Day's Range 1742.05 - 1781.30, Open 1759.63, so nothing matches exactly.
Indices are always a problem--one reason is that not all stocks in the index trade at market open.
Beware especially the DJ #s; there is a large difference between the theoretical and actual for open, hi and low. (Barron's gives both values on page 1 of the Market Laboratory section.)
