This is typical "serious trouble". Lu will ship Q1 99, and CSCO is coming out with a new Remote Access "Acend Killer". Lu is not tested, and CSCO is on their second "Ascend Killer". Yada, yada, yada. Good grief. This LU thing sounds like a new gadget cooked up by the engineers at Bell Labs. They may know how to design good voice switching technology, but data is a totally new enchilada. If Cisco hasn't thought of and explored this technology already, then I really have serious doubts as to whether it's viable. It's not that easy to resolve end-to-end WAN QoS issues. Is this what's driving down ASND price today??? If so, then false alarm--it's time to load up on ASND. bucky89
