<<<<E3: Dreamcast's US Publishers Announced
Sega of America head Bernie Stolar reveals the first wave of
American companies to sign for Dreamcast software publishing.

May 26, 1998
Acclaim, Midway, GT Interactive, Interplay, and Microprose make up the first wave of US publishers which have signed on to develop and distribute software for Sega Dreamcast.

"Third party publishers are excited by the performance of Dreamcast
prototype games they've been able to create in a short amount of time," said Sega of America's President and COO, Bernie Stolar, at today's North American unveiling of the console. "They'll have more than a year, and a great deal of Sega support, to make breakthrough games for Dreamcast."

Stolar concluded by adding that further publishers and developers -- from all corners of the globe - will be announced during the coming days, weeks, and months. We'll keep you updated with the latest.<>>
