Vi,

quite a lot of things happening these days in Russia. My concern is less about the market but more with getting miners and teachers paid, etc. That the market tanked because the Rosneft deal fell through, is a bit of an excuse IMO. Yes the government is now maybe missing some money from this sale, but OTOH, even if bidders would have been there, the money for the sale would not be available overnight.

So everybody in the market is panicky, but the market operators have decent incomes already and will not go broke in a big way. Politics / Government must find a solution to the ever on-dragging payments and salaries crisis in the public sector.
