With exception of their majority position in NACT (which is quite profitable) their other activities require taking on substantial debt to continue building their network. I feel it will take considerable time (years) for GST to show a real profit. GST is a local exchange carrier (there are several others) trying to take advantage of favorable ruling from the FCC. I do not believe this advantage witll be of any advantage except it does permit LEC's to try and succeed. Eventually they may become buyout targets for much large carrier companies. If I might suggest-Look at NACT as a better choice for investment. I did and am quite happy with result.
