Someone was asking about regulatory issues of the chat room plans. See page C1 of today's WSJ. Seems investment chat rooms and message boards are getting a lot of attention from the investment police. The article titled "Some Web Sites Getting Tough On Stock Chat" discusses E*Trade's plans.
