Bob, that's good thinking. I believe many of us were trying to figure out what such a small number meant. In fact if you are correct the increase in 5 new funds holding XOMA might be due to that reason also. It may have been impossible for a fund to liquidate its position prior to the reporting date . I think you have found the correct reason.

BTW short position

1,387,323 on 5/15 vs 1,257,713 on 4/15 an increase of 10% with 301,470 as a.d.v.
