I think they are playing some games and setting everyone up to think that they are totally unpredictable at very little current cost so that when the real action (volume) starts people will tend to pull the trigger out of fear rather than with a level head.

The last thing the MMs want is for people to hold on to their stocks when this thing starts trending upward. They will want to be able to shake people out along the way. There are probably a lot of people who have invested in FTEL at $5-9 who will just want to get their money out, which is fine if that makes them happy.

If FTEL starts getting consistent press releases announcing sales and increasing revenues, flipping this stock for $10 or even $15 may be a move to regret...but then I didn't sell at $10 either, which now seems like a bad move. Right now I'd just like to get all of my shares under the long term capital gain tax cap before I have to think about selling.
