RE: SMSC and Press Release of 5/28/98....24601, you seem pretty technical, you might want to browse through this biz.yahoo.com which describes a new business relationship between SMSC and Winbond Electronics. Winbond (Est. 1997 adjusted Revs. of 375 Million US$) is a Taiwanese firm which seems to be in the same area of business as SMSC. They seem to be 'partnering-up' which might add something to WAVX's deal in the future. Let me know what you think.
