John, at one point Rhonda either posted or emailed me saying that Merced had only received one phone call from someone representing themselves as a shareholder (or maybe potential) and Rhonda said it was a man. My memory may not be what it should be, but I'm sure somewhere in these 3,000 posts janice said she phoned Merced. The story was that there was no indication of a long distance call incoming & they figured it was Florida originated.

Your memory most certainly isn't what it should be. I've never called Merced nor any other company with a CSHK connection, nor have I ever claimed to have done so.

And what's your problem anyway? Two points here: 1) unless they have call tracing, they'd have no idea whether a call was international or local (I gather you don't have much experience with this, and that perhaps they don't either); 2) given that you accept the fact that the call was not "long-distance", why are you on my case once again. I do, after all, live in Italy.

And: only a few days ago you were saying that Merced had been "harassed" by constant phone calls. Now you say there was only one... Make up your mind.
