Nah, I wasn't meaning to shout, html tags don't pass through easily.
That was a failed attempt to get a pp break from my lame home software; I am getting more annoyed with micron by the minute.

I think cascading style sheets is a bit obscure to expect people
to know what it is from an acronym. Personally, I think trying
to do micro-managed page layout on stuff that's got to be viewable
under a wide variety of screens is the wrong approach; how is stuff
designed like that supposed to look good on a vga-res laptop or
one of these new windows-ce handheld/pda's, or on a tv screen?

And, of course, you ignored my larger point, but that's ok.
Really, Windows World (apologies to walt, wayne, and wally)
may look like fun to you, and there's plenty of good, cheap,
software and hardware around for it, but I don't think msft,
for all its talents and resources, is capable by itself of the broad
mainframe and network takeover it's attempting. And with
its history, it isn't going to find many big allies.

Cheers, Dan.
