I seriously doubt the screen could ever do video or color from what I've seen. The big advantage of the screen appears to be resolution; I can see applicability in cases where very high resolution black and white is required in a small space.

I did not see any option to do corrections without turning the screen on and off. That does involve a "warm-up" period of a few seconds with flicker. Tapping the screen doesn't present any problem and only a modest amount of pressure is required to draw on it although as I cited I was only able to get good results when holding the pen low; that may well have been a pressure issue. The screen appeared to be black and white only; I didn't see any shades of gray displayed.

I will try to do some more of your tests after hours today.
