As Dan would say, nice cheesy debate tactics. You took the statement out of context. The primary problem with switching from MSFT's suite now is the fact that it is the defacto standard and using Corel's or Lotus would be akin to using a proprietary system. There is also no training to be has in swithcing OSs, in fact some corporate end users can have thier OSs switched without thier catching on for weeks. A good example is switching from Win 95 to Win NT. Hence a little context for Mr. Platt's statement.
