Who said that socket 7 isn't good enough?

As a matter of fact, the current Super Socket 7 1MB (or more) cache board is a better investment than SLOT 1 board. The users of PII SLOT 1 board will be limited to the tinny 512K L2 cache. However, these smarter Super Socket 7 board users will have 3 levels of cache under their power when AMD release K2-3. They could have

64K L1 cache @core speed
256K L2 cache @core speed
1MB (2MB) L3 cache @100~133Mhz

The advantage of Super Socket 7 board over SLOT1 is just that simple. The only question is if AMD is capable to deliver this K6-3 as promised?
