CJ: I am assuming that you are the proud owner of a 1989 Laforza? Or have you decided to take a seat in a larger lap of luxury by "up-dating" to the 1998 Laforza? I would have to agree with you by saying that it is a head turner, but on the same hand, you have to take it to an open, (un-populated) field to see what it can really do. Contrary to what MOST people believe, or shall I say practice, an SUV should be purchased to (nowadays make a statement of the size of their wallet) off-road. How does the suspension react? Will the carb choke out on sharp jolt or engine twist or displacement? These are a few questions that you have to ask yourself. I'm interested to get you feedback, for I have not had the opportunity to actually toy with one.
