V.K.

Trust me, they all have great credentials. One in twenty (at best) do any research. Few of those do meaningful research. It makes them no money. Selling does.

No matter how it appears, he is prospecting you. That's all they do.

I lived this, up close and personal. It is not the intellectual, inside business, research oriented occupation that everyone pictures. It is down and dirty, grunt level sales. The only measurement is commission volume. The VP titles etc., only comes from sales volume. Period.

The only common thing among brokers is personality and intelligence. It is not really all their fault as to their focus. The firms demand it, and they need to make a living. You would be amazed at the things we were taught about how to squeeze more commissions out of our customers. Disgusting!

Dwight (sorry for getting off NOVL)
