Hi CTC, I of course am already convinced. Except I still do the trading on some money for the thrill. You left out the huge time investment for trading (that is not necessary for holding long term) and the nervousness and panicky ness, that attends trading more than buy and hold. (Although margin is nerve wracking even on a buy and hold until your stock goes up 50% or so and stays there long enough to base.) Could you do an analysis though that brings in the IRA where interim taxes are not involved but commissions (and that psychological stuff I just mentioned) still are? Freeus You still have to watch a little: I would have lost a bundle had I stayed in COMS after my usrx merged with it.
