Why is the market reacting slightly negative today to the news? (Or is it just more Hong Kong jitters) Also, isn't the MCI switched internet backbone kind of old technology, compared to what Qwest and Level 3 are rolling out? CEO Brown was on CNBC this morning. Seemed pretty proud of the deal. Does this make them more or less attractive/feasible to potential acquirers, like AT&T or the Baby Bells? Comments?
