Paul, re "Of course, VERY fast DRAM (SDRAM
??) will be required to keep pace with these clock speeds".

I also have it from a very good source that SDRAM will become THE
DRAM of choice starting in 1997. All the big suppliers will be making SDRAM (or are already). The volumes of SDRAM will become huge, which will drive the price down, causing more consumption of SDRAM. The question is, what company can we invest in that will benefit from the SDRAM explosion? The only American companies that are making SDRAM that I can find are TI and Motorola, neither of which excites me very much. Of course, most of the big Asian companies have SDRAM also. Do you know of any smaller companies that may clean up with SDRAM?

Thanks,
Tony
