The U.S. could impose restrictions -- for example, there are restrictions on sending money to Cuba. I asked my Indian friends about the restrictions on sending funds to India, and they have told me that it appears that the U.S. banks are restricting transfers. I guess they are nervous until full written details come out from the U.S. State Dept. about the nature of the sanctions on India and Pakistan.
