We'll have to see what the authorities decide as far as sanctions go. I work for a manufacturer of telecom equipment and our lawyers have been having discussions with the State Dept. about what areas the sanctions will be in, but there is nothing official yet, only speculation. (We are concerned because we have contracts in both India and Pakistan.) As far as your question goes, about sending money to India, I assume that they would probably allow money transfers for humanitarian reasons when the sanctions go into effect, but it looks like business interests are going to be hurt by any sanctions, based on what I've heard.
