DD? It next to impossible to do any useful DD on a start-up like ASRF with a history of delinquent reporting. I have received zippo from them over the 1.5 yrs that I have owned ASRF stock.

I'll tell you what troubles me about Astris:
1] Terrible reporting - If you are actually going to have the chance to talk to anyone at Astris you may want to mention (repeatedly) that they would have a heck of alot more money for R&D if they actually took care of the business side of being a public company. Serious money is not going to touch them until they are serious about reporting. Huge venture-cap funds love little gems like ASRF but they must open their books!

2] Change in direction - This could be a plus or a minus ... who's to know because there are no press releases nor accessible IR. If Astris is indeed switching into the development of an automobile fuel cell this could mean big, big things...if it works and more importantly if they find a buyer. Astris is David...they would be entering into a market against giant companies with huge capitalization, millions of research dollars and pre-existing, big-money relationships with automobile manufacturers. I liked Astris better when their focus was the development of power cells for small engines/motors. A market less technologically demanding with less fanfare, less competition but incredible potential.

Notice that I did not say that I was troubled with the technology. You have to believe in the technology to invest in this company because its the only thing you've got. The small chance to be part of a company that could develop a workable fuel cell is very exciting. The potential for profit is staggering...every person, everywhere could use this safe, clean, efficient energy. The leverage buying into ASRF right now, in my opinion is worth the risk.

Posting questions for ASRF is probably a good thing...if I ran ASRF...I would be reading this thread.
