Wow, I really missed the action today (flat on my back all day with a NASTY stomach virus, didn't even have the strength to get up and check quotes). I'm still trying to digest the news and I have a question that maybe someone can answer -- what exactly is the product that the WaveMeter will be shipped on? It sounds to me like SMSC makes chips -- so we're talking about placing chips on chips? Or are we talking about something like a floppy drive controller card? I'm not well-versed in the mechanics of these things. I'm also really curious as to how the revenue sharing would work between SMSC and the boxmakers. It looks to me like SMSC could stand to make a killing on this deal, if they're going to get a decent cut.

Also, did anyone else notice where SMSC is located? Hauppauge, NY. Coincidence?

Pardon me if this post doesn't make much sense, I'm still a bit woozy. Here's looking forward to more great news. The chip is going to be on PCs. That is WAVX's biggest hurdle.
