Jeff and all, I've been using a check card, issued by
my bank, for about a year. It's great. It's the same
card I use in the ATM machine. I mainly use mine at
the grocery store. Just slide it through the machine
and enter my pin number and that's it. I can even get
cash back if I wish. My statement shows where I used
it, the transaction number, date and amount. Haven't
had any problems. Similar to a credit card but I use
my pin number instead of signing the slip. I hardly
ever write a check anymore. I'm also on PCBanking.
All done on my computer. My bank prints and mails most
all my checks for me. No charge with min. balance.
No checks, no stamps to buy or lick, no envelope's to lick.
Maybe CLCK will get into this also. Love it!!!
Total electronic banking is not far off. Like it or not.
