Worswick,
I just can't bring myself to do a recap on, "The Asia Meltdown: A Crisis of Global Capitalism." It was one very interesting article I have to admit. But obviously a little slanted coming from the, "World Socialist Web Site!"

It certainly painted a very dark picture of the entire Asian Crisis and worse, made it seem like it's only the beginning. This article took longer to read than the Atlantic Monthly article. Exactly 64 minutes per the treadmill timer. And this time I felt extra tired after getting off the treadmill!

But I have to say, it was extremely well written and pretty much backs up what we all believe lead to the current crisis, while throwing in numerous jabs at the "bourgeois" economists. The author (unnamed by the way) was obviously well informed on the details of the economic history of the Asian region.

Thanks for the story. I'm going to read it one more time because it does tie up a lot of critical events in economic history leading up to today. Thank God I can punch holes in it, in some places, or I would be very depressed.
