TL, Good to see you away from e-commerence stocks. It ia amazing you are in MCD too. Though I just lurk here this is the first message I am posting here. I have been on MCD's McShare program for past 2 1/2 years. 1998 is the year of McDonalds! I strongly see it setting new highs and believe it will split will come this year. MCD recent news of the plans to buy real estate in Asian countries are very well thought. With strong US currency, cheap property value with the chance of not being bided to death MCD can make good moves. In certain part of Asian countries prime lands are bided outrageously high. At times the value of property is doubled just cuz the other guy just want to get hold of the property regardless of the cost. Looking forward to the future. MCD is a a CORE holding for me unlike the technology stocks.
