from the article: " Violations of FTC orders carry civil penalties of up to $5000, and each day of disobedience is counted as a separate offense." So........why doesn't Intel just send a check for 5K every day, and ignore the FTC? Or, alternately, send a check for 50K every day to the lawyers, with orders to delay forever (that's the MSFT solution)?
